We have 2 1995 saturn sl with dead engines. One is a manual dohc that has a hole in the engine block from a thrown rod. The other is a 1995 manual sohc that our son didn''t put any oil in and the engined seized. Is it possible to rebuild the sohc and put in in the car that had the dohc? Is it even worth it?

Possible, yes. Worth it, no. Theres more involved than just dropping the engine in.
