Starting problems. 2000 saturn SL. Need help please thanks!

Hi i'm new to this but I have a 2000 Saturn SL that just wont start. I just got back from a 500 mile round trip and the next day after I had gotten home the thing just would not start. It only has 70,000 miles on it and is in perfect condition. When I turn the key you can hear a knocking or clicking at the starter but I took the starter out and brought it to an auto parts store and they had told me it was just fine. The battery is fully charged. What should I check now or how could I dignoise somthing like this to come to the right part that needs changed/fixing? The thing just wont start, like it said it does not even turn over it just makes a quiet knocking or clicking by the starter. Hope I can get help from someone. Thanks a ton for your time and help!

Check the positive battery cable for corrsion. Not just at the battery post but inside of the cable by cutting open an inch or so from the terminal.

Have the battery LOAD TESTED at your local NAPA, or one of those near worthless chain stores
