I took a beat up 97 sl2 as part of the deal when I sold my car. I
replaced the radiator, thermostat, plugs/wires, fuel/oil/air filter, egr valve, map/o2 sensor, and a few other small things as soon as I got the car. It drove fine but then developed a problem where the fuel pressure would build and fall as soon as the pump shut off. I replaced the fuel pump and drove it down the road and it stalled. It took me like 5 min to get it started. Now after I get it to start the motor will idle fine, but when I give it gas the motor bogs down before it revs up. The fuel pressure and spark is good. Any ideas? |
Have you replaced the ECTS and its connector?

well... I am pretty sure that part has gone bad, I just didn''t know that the temp sensor would cause that big of a problem. I am going to replace it and see if it works.
