I have a 1996 Sl2, and it has a radio problem. Whenver I am stopped, or turn the volume up all the way, it scrambles and loses the station. But when i start moving, the audio is fine, if its quiet. i replaces the antenna, but it has not helped, i want to know how to fix it before i spend my money on a new cd deck. (the current audio is all stock)

Sounds like you are trying to destroy your stock radio by cranking it up all the way -- it sounds like poopy......why even bother?

You probably fried some internal component by overheating it from the excessive volume cranking through the poopy stock speakers.

Oh, and replace those stock poopy speakers which most likely were dried out anyway (paper cone) before you trashed em with the max volume bit.....
