SC2 P0733 Incorrect 3rd Gear Ratio

Hi,





I have a 97 sc2 that I get codes P0733 Incorrect 3rd Gear Ratio and


P0734 Incorrect 4th Gear Ratio


Any idea what would cause this and how to fix it?

Incorrect ratio usually means slippin trans. Is the fluid full? what does the car drive like? does the check enginelight come back on as soon as you clear it or does it take a while?

also,I believe that those have a trans control unit? or a shift solenoid? if the car seems to drive and run fine, i woudl think that it is an electrical issue.

control module in the transmission needs to be replaced, it is fairley easy to do
