Hey, I am putting a 97 Saturn Motor in a Rail Buggy I'm building and am looking to pump the engine up a little. Like headers and such. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I'm getting ready to do some wiring and trying to figure out which wire coming out of the pcm to use to turn on the fan relay. I have found some basic diagrams that is shows it being a DKG W wire. Dark green with white stripe is what I am assuming. Thanks for any and all help. http://img01.picoodle.com/img/img01/...sm_1e6b385.jpg

For a header, look for a factory 1991/1992 exhaust manifold. I'd also ditch the Saturn PCM and go with an aftermarket engine management system. Much easier to put together and is able to be tuned. We're using a Haltec.

I wish I could find the pictures of the Saturn powered rail buggy a Saturn dealership in Las Vegas had. I must of took those pictures back in 1998 or 1999.

Thanks,

Whas wondering why a 1991/1992 exhaust manifold? Is it that much better than the one I have? I was wondering if they were premade headers out there some where for my engine. Probably not but was worth a shot.

I was sticking with the factory pcm just for cost issues alone. Seems like the aftermarket ecm's can be expensive but not sure. I have to figure what wires to pull signals from for the fan relays and the fuel pump relay. The schematics I have found so far aren't very helpful.

Thanks for you reply,
Bryan

Here is a picture of a 1991/1992 exhaust manifold and downpipe.
