I need some advice on how to fix a rear defog on a 1999 Saturn SL2 4 door sedan.I just bought it I'm real happy with it so far. When we test drove the car the defog lite did come on so we assumed it worked..Well since then we tried to use it and it would not lite up. We have checked the fuses in both panels, changed the switch on dash, replaced a relay in the fuse panel in passenger side floor.also..My husband checked it with a volt meter and is getting juice to the switch on the dash, but no lite or power to the back glass???? If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.. I have been reading in the wiring diagram of the repair manual, but so far no luck..any advice from anyone or anyone who has had same trouble?????? I don't know if its relavent, but I've been noticed a ticking or clicking coming from under the steering wheel? its at random, but quite often.. i first thought it was the keys rattling, but it isn't. My other car, when the rear defrog kicks off i hear a click , so i thought it may have something to do with it???? Any ideas anyone???

the car must be running for it to come on, or the dim switch may be turnde down
