I have a 2001 SL2. I had some transmission problems recently and had the valve body replaced. This seemed to fix the problem for a few weeks but now the problems are back (not as severe) and the check engine light is on. (P0733 code). Transmissionslams occasionally and sometimesruns as if there is excessive backpressure and the engine struggles to go.


Mechanic said I''d need to take the car to the dealer to flash the computer.


I read about replacing the throttle position sensor to fix the code issue.


Anyone have a similar issue?

P0733 is still blaming the transmission.


Hopefully, the shop that did your transmission work gave you a warranty, cuz the computer is telling youthe transmission isstill messed up.


The transmission slam and the engine struggle seem to bear that out

Ya what ever you do don''''t take it to the dealer because they know what they are doing. Take it to Joes Crab Shack and Transmission repair.
