Odometer fraud?

Thinking of buying a 2007 Aura from a private seller on Craigslist but there's a picture of the odometer and it looks kinda weird. The seller claims that it reads 112997 but the second "1" doesn't look like a 1. It looks like a straight line, taller and thinner and straighter than the first "1" in the picture. I'm worried that someone made an error in attempting to roll back the odometer but maybe Saturns just do that sometimes and someone on the forum has seen it before. Here's a link to the picture if you're interested: http://memphis.craigslist.org/cto/3299320135.html What do you think?
Thanks,
Lou

If you look over to the end of the odometer there is another one of those lines. My guess, it is a cosmetic way of indicating lay out of the odometer reading and is on the overlay.
My personal opinion though of the deal, and arguable at that. If you have 9 grand to buy a 5 year old car that is no longer being manufactured, no dealer to take it to and hard to get parts for and buy it with no warranty or paper trail for having problems with it and over a 100,000 miles either get it a whole lot cheaper or buy something that is still being manufatured with a paper trail warrentee.

Get the VIN and run a bloody car fax, kinda easy ya think. Just for the record odo's are just LIGHTS on new cars the mileage is stored in the computor and displayed with LIGHT.

PS: I'd have no problem buying a SATURN AURA whats so ever. Oh and the add says the car has 13,000 miles on it. So what is it 13,000 or 112,997 ?

Thanks ---- Yeh that's a crummy deal. The ad actually claimed 13,000 miles, so I thought that if there was a logical explaination for that line then it might be worth investing in a Carfax report to see if that would help verify that ridiculously low mileage. Right in the middle of making the post here I got a text from the seller saying it was supposed to have been 113,000 mi -- too much for me, but I still wanted to know what was up with that line -- and you caught it. Thanks :)
