Odometer display/Message center

Ok here's the deal I have an Ion 2 2006.

On this oen there's a message center thingy where the odometer is.
Default display is the odometer and the trip counter which you can reset like in most cars.

Then you can also flip messages, and you get the language(well in my case I do being in Canada) and you get the OIL LIFE message with nothing on the second line... now I have been reading the manual. I'm supposed to get another message when I'm due for an oil change... but under OIL LIFE on the bottom line I was expecting to get some sort of percentage or something letting me know if I'm getting close to the next oil change or not.

On some other cars you do get a percentage letting you know you're 80% close to due... no clue on the Saturn ION and there's no mention on it in the manual. So I thought I'd ask on here.

I did over 5,000km since I bought it already (I do roughly a 100km daily) usually I'd be expecting an oil change close to now... but I don't know. Might happen later due to the highway mileage I put on it...

No you do not get a % left message. No you do not get real time MPG, why?, because it is not an information center thats the reason there's no mention on it in the manual. When it's time for an oil change it'll tell you.

Thanks at least now I know. I guess I'll be saving on oil changes... I used to do them every 5,000km now I'll have to wait and see how much mileage I can put in between oil changes :)
