I thought what...............when I hear key codes I think this.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Key_code |
ok i did the jumper and im only getting 12 ... but yet my CEL light still remains on ... whats the issue??
Possibly a loose gas cap. Make sure it's on properly, and doesn't leak. Then, drive it for a couple of driving cycles, and the light should go out.
oh its on there tight lol ... i always make sure of that because i got gas the other day and it still remains on
You gotta twist it until it clicks.
CEL issues are a bit misleading, because even though they do not "set" a trouble code in memory, they do take a bit of time to clear - such as a problem with a loose gas cap. Even knowing where the problem was, and correcting it immediately, it took nearly two weeks for the light to clear on my L200 ...

ill just unhook battery lol
cycle key from off to on (not run) 50 times in succession
lol that works too
yes it does I've done it personally---with the added bonus of keeping your radio presets
i reallyt dont worry about the radio... i mainly use my phone through the Aux inputs
Hmmmmmmmmm ...
Early Saturn radios didn't have AUX inputs .... Must be an after-market device |
yupp yupp .. it sure is ... id didnt have any radio in it so i bought one... to bed the original owner (the people that bought it before the people that i bought it off of) decided to cout the wires all the way into the harness
