My 2004 Saturn L300 v6
I am in need of some help please , I own a 2004 saturn L300 v6 oh about a year ago i had a used new engine put in, but for some reason now there is oil getting my water reserve tank, its not a blown head gasket because she just passed smog with flying colors and she does not over heat and till this day she still not over heating. my boy friend throught maybe a blown head gasket or maybe a start of one so we want and got some sealant that did'nt do nothing. want and got a new raditior and thats not the problem,so some one said maybe oil cooler. I took it to a shop today and the guy said its hard to tell, he said start with the coolant gasket. I am a women so i have no clue. my father died back on sept 11, 2021 and this was his car so i am trying by best to take care of it in his memory. any you could do to help me would be great. i just dont know what way to go.

Most of these tanks get an oil type sludge builds up over time. The glycol is a product of petroleum and breaks down.

Did you post this before, it looks very familiar? Why would passing an emission test have anything to do with having good head gaskets?

I thought this looked familiar, Andy....
