Locking lug nut key
I have a 2006 Saturn Ion that I purchased used and has 1 locking lug nut on each wheel and the key was not in the car when purchased. I contacted the previous owner and she doesn't have it. I looked on ebay and sellers said their keys fit only aftermarket locks. I think the locks on mine are OEM. I'll contact dealer to see if available, but if not, suggestions on where to find one?
Did you do a thorough search of the glove box and the trunk? Maybe a clip under the spare tire lid has it or it's down in one of the creases of the trunk. If not, I can only recommend twisting them off and replacing them with new lug bolts and nuts.
I've never heard anyone mention OEM locking lug nuts on a Saturn. Doesn't mean it can't be true, just saying. Does the car have any other obvious cosmetic upgrades? And are the wheels on the car OEM or aftermarket? The only reason I would put locking lugs on my vehicle is if I had expensive wheels
