Default Little Red Odometer Gear

Okay Guys, I'm tired of driving 180 mile round trips to Pull-A-Part and yanking a speedometer only to discover after installing it that the damned odometer is no good. After dissecting the two I have, I've discovered that the little red gear in both of them is broken. Anyone know of a site or supplier that I just order the gear from? I'm tired of the trial and error method and would just like to fix the frigging thing properly once and for all.

I suspect that's my problem too. If you find a company, order two extra gears for me

On mine the speedometer works, but the intense heat has done a number on the odometer. I have a unit I purchased from our parts man here but have yet to remove the instrument cluster to do it. A combination of I have too many projects, it is no fun working in 100+ degree temperatures in the drive way and I am half afraid of breaking every one of the plastic snap to lock fasteners on it.

The plastic snap to lock tabs are the hardest part, Unc. I broke one, but was able to super glue it back. The key is to just take your time and use a gentle, steady pressure while pushing them in and separating the case. And Mike, I found a place on ebay, but these things are expensive! I'm afraid you'll have to order your own. I'll send you a link for them if you want me to.
