So, as an update, I had the car repaired this afternoon.

After tearing the thing apart looking for the problem, the issue ended up being inside the switches on the driver's side door. I did not open up the switches the first time and lo and behold, that was the problem. There was a wire that came undone inside one of the harnesses.
