So today I was on my way to my friends and well on the way there all of a sudden my car makes this high pitched humming noise when I was going about 65-70 and as soon as I took my exit and started slowing down it stopped, and the check engine light came on. On my way back home it did the same thing but made a weird high pitched squeak as I slowed down then stopped.

If the check engine light is on, check the diagnostic codes and tells us what they are. All that is needed is a paper clip to jump the two terminals on the ALDL.
