they say they should last 250,000 miles one mechanic told me the Saturn's were a poorly made car very cheap he said you cannot compare it to your firebird a better made car. my dad had a Toyota truck bought new 20 yrs he never put a dime into it just regular stuff. at this point its just not reliable I have gotten stuck a few times the last few yrs twice the brake lines went they rot out a few times it would not stare its been quirky since day one I spent a fortune 3 yrs ago to get it to pass emissions if finally passed 2 wks later check engine light went on now It would cost another small fortune to get it to pass 23 yrs is long enough time for a newer car I have had it 10 yrs paid 2500 for it used it mostly for the winters
