Cleaning Cloudy Headlights
Hey Guys and Mandee, I just found the cheapest, easiest way to clear those frigging cloudy headlights that we've all experienced. Just get a wet rag, and dump some baking soda onto it and make a paste. Wet your headlight with some water and scrub them vigorously for a couple of minutes and then rinse them. You'll be amazed! I just did the LW and my Grand Caravan in about 10 minutes. 100% improvement on both. Don't piss your money away on those "headlight restoration kits". They ain't worth the time and money. I promise you if you try this, you'll be happy.

are you making fun of me for trying one of those kits Charlie?
Pics or it didn't happen! |
I don't have before and after pics, Billy as I was very skeptical about it actually working. MAYBE if you go and take a look at my wagon, the pics will show the cloudy headlights. I'll try to find time today to take some of the after and post them. I have to take my daughter to the dentist in a few minutes. If you go to the forums section and click on past models L series, wagons etc., you will see the pics of my new LW200. I love this thing already!

I saw the other pics, it does look good Charlie!

I think she may have an issue or two with that. She never wants to get married or have kids. She can't stand kids. LMAO I'm getting to where I can't either. So, you're SOL, Billy. Here's the pics of the headlights. They ain't perfect, but they are a hell of a lot better than they were.

I don't believe in marriage, and I cant stand kids. effin ankle biters.
plus, who needs another me running around XD Damn! those look good Charlie! |
Thanks, Billy. I was really amazed at how good the look with so little time and effort. I did use quite a bit of force scrubbing them, but did both in less than five minutes, start to finish. Wet the headlight before starting your scrub. When you're done, just rinse them and the car off and wipe off the baking soda.

and to think I spent 15 bucks on that stupid kit a while back, and after all that, bought new headlights anyway. geez.
Im keeping this in mind! |
I've been informed that I need to put some kind of headlight clear coat on them. Anyone else have any ideas about that? I'll go by a couple of parts stores and Walmart over the weekend and see what I can find.
