Brand new saturn owner need factory alarm help!
 

hello fellow saturn peeps,just bought my wife a 2001sc2. after 3 weeks of alarm (factory theft security) working fine,it all the sudden has a mind of its own,it goes off in the middle of day sometimes for no reason it chirps 3 times sometimes when arming it, trunk open light comes on alot only since alarm trouble started.i changed keyfob battery and checked car battery connections,i assume there is a loose wire or ground on alarm,but not sure.your help would be great!anyone know where the brains to alarm or controls even are?thanks Chad

Check the fit/alignment of the trunk lid along with checking for loose wiring. Also check the trunk strike plate, and make sure it's not loose either
