Alignment problem?

My Saturn LS 2000 has recently been shaking and vibrating violently when I take right turns. Clearly the steering wheel points right when I go straight and when the steering wheel is centered, it turns left; so I'm sure I know the alignment needs to be fixed. Does the alignment issue correspond with the vibration, or is the vibration independent of the alignment?

I wanted to get some advice before I take it to a dealership so I can try to get a quote on the labor cost. I also do not have a owners manual, I bought it used. It has about 113,000 miles on it and is due for a tire rotation.

-Thanks

almost surely independent problem

Agree with SW2CAM, it sounds like two problems. Unless something like a tie rod end is so worn out that a wheel is just more or less pointing where it wants to rather than where you are going.
Your alignment is about a $60.00 cat, the rest, is open and partially dependant on how good you are at DIY.
