97 SL1 Starter relays

Has anyone tried wiring in a general purpose relay using a replacement connector and harness. Anyone else have starter relay problems?

Of the 10 Saturn S-Cars I've had no I have not had a single starter relay problem, no not one

I've had 9 SATURN S-series and have never had a problem with the starter relay or connector.

2 SC2's and 420K+ mi between them. Original starters still in both....

Just want to clarify, starter rely(anti-theft relay) below the glareshield in front of the PCM not the starter solonoid on the starter.
