Default 94 SL1 fuel/spark/no start?!

Hi, I'm new to the forum and would really appreciate some advice on my car. I have a 94 SL1 auto and I started it a few nights ago and it idled at about 2500rpm then died. I have read about the ECTS, but I'm not sure thats the issue. It has spark and the injector was spraying when I first messed with it. Compression isn't an issue as it was driving like usual a few hours before. I have, however, always had an issue with it bogging down from a stop and sometimes even dieing. It happened more than usual on that particualar day. If anybody has other theories, I'd love to hear them.

Well, since the car won't start, and the engine is "cold" now is a good time to check the ECTS. It's located on the driver's side of the engine, below where the hose connects from the top of the radiator. The sensor has two wires going to it. Disconnect the connector, and measure the resistance of the sensor (should be about 4,500 ohms). If it is drastically higher (8,000 +), or lower (800 or less), the sensor is bad, and should be replaced. I personally recommend replacing the electrical connector pigtail at the same time. Parts will run about $50usd. Use Teflon tape or paste on the threads, and don't overtighten.
