i have a 93 sc2 project i am working on. i would like to get some more power out of the motor and i have used headers on various vehicles in the past.this car still has the stock cast exhaust manifold on it.can anyone suggest a good header that will get me noticable results without breaking my bank. thanks steve

Find yourself a factory 1991 or 1992 header and downpipe. Its a tubular design and what all the aftermarket companies copy. And its emissions legal.

thanks mike, do you think i will see any power or fuel economy difference over what i have now or will a obx or pacesetter give me more. the reason i am asking is i have a header from my 92 sc2that i smashed but i dont have the downpipe and it will cost about 120 for anew one if thats the case should I spend an extra 60 or 70 for a nice stainless one? what are your thoughts on that. thanks steve

Any differences over stock are minimal. Maybe a couple HP. The stock 91/92 header, OBX and Pacetter are all virtually the same.

And find the OEM 91/92 at the junkyard, eBay or other online Saturn forums. Shouldnt be more tha $40-$50.

i think maybe i will just find a down pipe and slap that old header on there then. thanks steve
