2003 Saturn vue problems.

I have a 03 Saturn vue 4cly. About a month ago i had problems with it, It use to try to start but would never catch. I brought it to Canadian Tire and paied 500$ for a new throttle body. I had the Suv back for lil under 2 weeks. My ses light was blinking and i was losing all power, but was close to home and made it. My suv does the same things as b4 now. She turns over really well but no catch. I hook a computer up to it and there were five codes showing on it
p0300 random misfire
p0453 evap
p1120 throttle pos. 1 sensor malfuntion
p1220 '' '' '' . 2 '' '' '' ''
P1516 which doe'nst show up for anything.
After spending 500$ in the new throttle body i brought it back to C/T and they said bring it back which i'd have to tow it there then they'd screw me over again. Just looking for a few opions on the matter. Is it fixable at home?

NEVER EVER no not never take your SATURN to

CanadianTire&Hardware

Take your VUE to your nearest SATURN retailer and have it fixed by someone that does not sell garden hoses on the side.

A $500.00 lesson.

Are you having your problems starting the car when the engine is cold (like first thing in the morning), or when the engine is hot (shopping around town and stopping at one store after another), or all the time, regardless of engine temp ??

Ask for your money back as they obviously did not fix your problem.

Hopefully you went home with your original throttle body (replaced parts must be given to folks in the states by law if you ask). It was likely fine.

As for fixing at home - just take it to a Saturn dealership and find out what is actually wrong

Sounds like the PCM is getting bogus info about the throttle position and is probably refusing to let fuel flow freely. Have you checked wiring on those sensors? ANd the ignition fuses?
