Exclamation 2002 SL2 - Squeaking

Good morning, I've owned this car for 7 years and am very happy with it. It still gets GREAT gas mileage. Aside from the air conditioning not working everything works as good as when it was new.

Recently it's started to squeak/creak from the rear suspension when going over bumps or even when I shift. Sometimes it's louder than others, at times it goes away completely. Heat/cold doesn't seem to affect how loud it is.

I originally thought it was the shocks but they don't bounce excessively when I push on the rear bumper. Could it be as simple as something needing to be lubricated? If so what would be the main culprits and what is the best product to use? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

If the car has been serviced by Gary'sGatorFarm&AutoCenter rather than a dealership, the bushings may be getting dry. Get a spray bottle of lubricant for your rubber bushings, and put it on a rack and give all the bushings a shot or two. Also, while you're under there, look for unusual rubbing/wear and take appropriate action ....

Rear sway bar end links (assuming these were still used in the 3rd gen S cars)?
