Does the 2001 Saturn engine destroy itself with a bad timing belt, or do you just need to replace the belt???? Thanks mklein

1991-2002 Saturn S-Series engines have a timing chain. If the cain gets stretched too much or breaks, it can lead to valve and piston damage.

What about the serpentine belt?
How difficult is that to replace?
I have an ''03 LW200

Thanks!
Eric
