1993 Saturn SL Radiator replacement
I'm replacing the radiator since it is cracked. After running around to several
part stores I just picked up a radiator that the store says is the one. I got
home and compared the original with the new and the new one has the
holes/fitting for carts with the automatic transaxle, my car does not. Since it
is a generic radiator and I'm not even a backyard mechanic. Should I get
brass plugs to put in the two holes and if so what type of sealant should I
use. The new radiator came with just plastic screw in caps to keep dirt out
while in storage. thanks

All replacement radiators are made to work in both automatic and manual equipped cars. No need to plug anythimg up since you'll never be using that option on your radiator. You need to be more concerned that you got the correct radiator. Most parts stores dont know that there was a design change in 1994 and assume all Saturn S-Series used the same radiator.
