I have a Saturn 2002 vue and I have noticed coolant dripping slowly from some sort of runoff pipe on the left side of the radiator. The pipe faces down. I assume this is the place for the antifreeze to be drained, and there is a plastic phillips screw that I can turn somewhat. My question is, am I suppose to be able to turn this to stop the drip. I have already turned it as far as I think it can go and the drip persists. I don't want to force it and break it.
Any thoughts?

Yea, the people on this board aren't really interested in helping a guy out, it seems. I'd assume you're right about the radiator drain valve leaking. My book is a 91-99 so I don't have your VUE of things. Emoticons are fun! I'd wait until the engine is cool and fully open the valve to flush out any sediment that may have worked its way into the valve seat and reclose it snugly. Save the coolant and put it back in. If the valve can be replaced you can do that, call your Saturn people. Otherwise it's probably a new radiator. You could also try the stop leak if the open and shut method doesn't work, but I would consider that a temporary fix.

Best of luck,

Don
