Talking Does painting count as detailing?

If it does then this post is in the correct spot. Did I ever mention how much I dislike body work. I would much rather overhaul an engine. Ok now that I have taken a breath, I am in the process of painting a used dark blue rear bumper cover for my blue/silver L200. I think it is all the prep work not the actual painting that I find tedious. I have feathered where the previous clear coat had peeled, but the recessed Saturn name in the bumper cover is very time consuming to sand. I may get the color on it after the race tomorrow.

Of course, it's considered detailing, Andy. If it improves the way the vehicle looks, then I consider it detailing. LOL
