i would do it yourself. If its one of the back speakers then its an
easy 5 minute replacement. if its one of the front speakers then its a
little harder cause you gotta get the door panel off, i did mine all by
myself

Yeah, stock speakers are a snap to do. Don't throw away money having someone else do it. Even wiring an amp and woofer is real easy. The hardest part is hiding all the wires (and that isnt that bad)Replacing factory speakers is really easy. You can't mess it up. (Unless you pop it with your screw driver!) Edited by: euroc

I would do it yourself. I blew my two rear speakers and know have replaced all four with 4 Pioneer 4way speakers all of them 6 1/2 speakers. I couldnt be happier. When you take the front door panel off just be gentle becaue the plastic hooks will break easily on you.

Replacement plastic door hooks can be obtained from your local Saturn Parts dept for very cheap.....no need to have the door panel vibrating b/c of broken clips.

THANK YOU! I've been putting off changing out my speakers cuz I'm notorious for breaking those damn things and I didn't know if they were Saturn parts (vs. universal) and, if they were, how much they were...
