Default Photo Whorage and other things

Well, Im sure we've all done it once. Just take photo upon photo of our car. Since my brother finally gave me back my camera, I took the car out and took some pics.

On the other hand - what other vehicles have you owned/driven that you like as much as your Saturn?
Im curious because before my Saturn I was in love with my sisters Mazda 6, and every other Ford that my parents had (an Edge, Mustang gt, and f350) I thought the Saturns (and every other GM vehicle) were hunks of junk until I drove it for the first time. I used to make fun of my grandfather for having the car, But he told me that I would have loved the car - and he was right.

Update time? I think so.
Well a few months back I mentioned (on another section of the forum) that I was looking into short ram / cold air intakes. Well I got one (nearly 2 weeks ago), I got the Short Ram from AEM. Even though the websites say its for an SC2, it fits fairly well. Theres a slight bit of rub on the hood but its all good (theres a picture down there to show that).
All would be good if I can figure out that acceleration problem (but thats another thread)
Uhh. what else... Oh, I added an Ultra Gauge.
Picture time now.

I'd like to raise a question, not that I have a problem with spending money on personalised auto modifications, you ought to see some of the stuff I spend on but! On these air intakes, I fail to see a benifit. Despite advertising to the contrary. They all expose the air inlet (the filter) to under hood heated air trapped from where ever it can be attained. It is a given that cool inlet air is a benifit to developing power. Pre heated air is a disadvantage. Each of these items replace an air air inlet system while possibly more restrictive, not proven, but possibly however they also supply cool air obtained from out side the engine compartment to the inlet side of the engine. A commonly preferred and proven method of increasing performance.
So? Where is the benefit derived from?

It does "sound" like more HP. I think that is all you can expect to get though.

Short ram intake I found is good for on average of .168 in the 1/4 mile on TwimCam S-Cars. The cold air intake with BBTB is good for about .213 in the 1/4. With no other mods I found doing exhaust work is worthless.

@sw2cam, while the comments on the intake surprise me I'll take your word for it, you apparently have actually proved it. Good enough for me. As to the exhaust, that pretty much has been my experiance too. If you have not done some serious engine modifications and are reaching for some really high rpm most modern factory exhaust systems are more than adequate in getting jobs done. Mostly by the time exhaust systems start adding anything measurable, the car is also no longer streetable. For the most part.
For my money? The biggest single change you can do, the cheapest and the most work but worth when done.
Change the cam out! Or cams depending on how many there are!
