Default Need help!

hey everyone.

im new here and i just bought an aura for my wife about a month ago. a 2008 XR. love the car so far, but today she noticed the auto dim mirror with compass wasn't working, the sunroof wont open neither of the heated seats are turning on, and only the drivers side window wont roll down. could that be a fuse in the car? i didn't think it was since there are so many different things at once, and only 1 window doesn't work... any help is appreciated,.

no it's outside of the 3 -36k. i'm not sure what it could be.. from what the information that i gathered is the heated seats and sunroof are on one fuse, the mirror is powered from the sunroof. but the drivers side window doesn't make sense... any ideas?

Well, I agree that its unusual for two different fuses to fail at the same time, but you need to check all the fuse blocks and replace any blown fuses. Then let us know what still doesn't work (if anything) and we'll go from there

alright so i replaced the one fuse that was labeled heated/sunroof and all things are working again except the auto up/down feature on the drivers side window.. What could cause the 10 amp fuse to just blow?

OK - so as I read your comment, your problem with the driver's side window is that it will not auto up/down. I'm assuming here that the window will operate with the switch held manually, just like the other windows -- am I correct ??

yes it will work by holding it.. so im not really sure... im kind of surprised that there were that many things hooked to 1 10amp fuse...

Auto up and down is controlled by the switch, so it's dirty or worn out.

They don't expect all them things to be on at the same time. As far as the autoup/autodown, theres an "express module" EM that has probably gone sour. Don't remember if its mounted in/on/near the window switch or the window motor, so you'll have to check with someone else on that .....
