I have a chance to get a turbo off a 04 VW Passat 1.8T. Is it possible to use that turbo on my SC2?

I really dont know much about it. All I have is it is out of a 04 Passat with a 1.8 engine. What do you need to know about it and I will see what I can do to find out the info.

Upon further investigation I found out it is a ko3 turbo and pushes a max of 14 lbs of boost.

if you realy want to do a cob job the dsm manifold will bolt up to our head if you do some drilling. that will allow you to run any turbo that will bolt up to that, 16g, t3/t4 etc. but if you want a complete how to I would suggest the statement for sixthsphere, be warned they would like you to exhaust all things possible before you post a question. also it is possible to use the stock motor with the turbo with either low boost or meth injection. tunning is KEY with turbo systems on our cars.

one more thing, my own two cents, I would personally go with a supercharger rather than turbo. from what I have found is that when the turbos spool traction is a MASSIVE issue. true there are guys out there with turbos on our cars in the 400 club but they have ALLOT of tire spinnage. I have driven a supercharged saturn, much more fun, no lag, it ran 12.5 un tuned and had allot more in it with tuning. In my opinon superchargers have less gremlins and are more fun. plus you still get the cool blow off valve!http://www.streetfire.net/video/sdas...-14_138076.htm
