I would say about every two weeks I'll have to add 3 quarts of oil or so

3 quarts in two weeks? Man, you must have a leak or be putting out one hell of a smoke screen. That's a lot of oil, depending on how many miles you're talking about. Even with a lot of miles, that's too much oil. You either have some bad valve seals, guides or busted rings.

I think then you have just come up with a reason for a blinking SES light due to miss-fireing.
With that kind of oil consumption fouling the spark plugs is a very real possibility.
The sensing for misfires while clever when the car was new it still had a problem or two one of which it is prone to failure depending on the type of spark plug used. For example the newer platinum plugs with a different shape configuration of the tip vs the regular NON-platinum plug causes a false misfire. And error code.
With that kind of oil consumption fouling plugs could cause a real misfire or you might be using platinum plugs, dunno. I don't think you mentioned it. An engine that worn out could have any number of problems due to excessive oil consumption.
You have changed a lot of parts through shot-gun trouble shooting. When the real problem might very well be.
Excessive oil consumption
or
the wrong spark plugs being used.
