Default SL2 A/C Problem

Greetings Gentlemen(and ladies),

I have a 2000 SL2 and I replaced the a/c compressor and low pressure side hose. There are no leaks and the pressure is fine but it's not blowing as cold as it should. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Did you pull a vacuum on the system before charging the system?

If you have not some how evacuated the air that has contaminated the open lines the pressure might be right but the amount of R134 in the system is going to be wrong.

I helped my friend with this same issue. We changed the expansion valve and it worked. The down side is that the expansion valves purchased from the auto parts stores where from the same supplier and failed to work. We tried one last idea and purchased the expansion valve from dealership without any problems.
