Default 96 sc1 shifter cables

I have replaced these dam things twice in less then a month because they keep breaking on me (im not banging gears)is there any metal upgrades instead of the basic plastic ones

Where are you buying them from?

Stop in the new member forum and introduce yourself. Once done open the USER CP top left to add your first name, location, and car info to your "signature".

That's your problem. They are junk, go to the dealer and get factory shift cables. Doorman cables are known to be worthless, get your money back. Replacing the plastic to metal is a temp fix.
