Friday night fun....

At my age I'd just put myself in the hospital if I tried that! I very seldom roller skated (at that time it was the old style, not rollerblades) and I have no desire to eat concrete. When you're young you can do that stuff!

i have all the protective gear (helmet, knee pads, wrist guards). The only thing i don't have is a butt guard. It hurts so very much more when you land on your butt and you're 40 lbs overweight

Derf, it don't matter if you're NOT 40 lbs overweight, falling on your butt STILL hurts. I try to avoid it, therefore I don't do things that would generally have that outcome.
I will still ride horses though, but only broke ones anymore.

Indeed falling on your *** does hurt and so does the following:
Today I spent an hour stretching across rafters in my attic on my ribs getting to a newly replaced bathroom fan to put on a wind blocking flap thing that only opens when the fan is blowing. No, wouldn't fit with it attached during install from the bottom.
It was located on a vaulted ceiling and way out where the roof supports meet the top of the rafters. Can't believe how many unnatural body positions I utilized to get there, install the thing (blindly by feel) and get back out. I sit here typing, feeling as though someone beat half my chest with a piece of metal.
