I need to find an EGR valve adapter plate. They don't make them anymore, but it was part# 21006753. After searching the internet, I'm realizing this is a somewhat common problem. I'm finding tons of the same questions, but no answers. Does anyone here know where to find this part?? I don't care if it's a rusted hunk of junk from a scrap yard in California or New York.

The reason I need it is because I bought a 98 Saturn sc2 1.9L DOHC about a month ago, AS IS. Now I'm finding a multitude of problems, and one being this car had an engine swap and has the incorrect EGR valve on it. The EGR valve fits, but is not regulated by anything as this car doesn't have the vacuum setup; the car needs the linear EGR valve that plugs in. This EGR adapter plate would solve all my problems...if only I could find one. Any ideas?

 

I suspect you are going to have a problem with this -- as that number (21006753) is no longer a valid number within the GM parts system (probably because it's addressing a 15 yr old part). Anyhow, This will be something to put on your "want list" for whenever you visit a U-Pull-It yard. Good luck ....
