Default Hello everyone new member here with a few questions!

I have recently purchased a 1999 sl2 with the 1.9 DOHC engine. This is an asphalt circle track race car. I am wanting to know if anyone has any performance tips for this car to get a few more horses. I have heard a few guys at the track say they run a 1992 SC stock header and some guys say they have a stock adjustable fuel rail or pressure regulator. Does anyone know about the adjustable regulator or rail and what year and model they came on. I would really appreciate any help you can give. This is a stock class and we can't run aftermarket parts, turbo, or NOS.

Your best bet is to keep talking to those that run a like car in a like class. Non of us race a S-CAR on the dirt. Maybe go to a race forum that has a stock class area.

Hello, in a quandary here. I've been lucky enough to inherit a 1996 SC2. At 132k its still a great running vehicle. I have a problem that is very common to the Saturn, worn out 'teeth' on the manual window regulator (driver side). The regulator can not be purchased new. The only option are salvage yards. to my surprise i have located many 4 door Saturns and a few 2 door. Although, not a single one in the 1996 model. I was hoping to find the same size gear(large half moon sprocket like gear) that will inter change.
Question: Does anyone know what other year model(if any) would be interchangeable with mine 1996. Any and all suggestions are appreciated in advance.

in general, 1st gen s coupes are interchangeable 93-96, with 95 having some year specific stuff. 91 aandd 92, they were still sorting things out, so don't go there unless you have to.

Remember I said IN GENERAL. Gotta do your homework.
