Finding a pistons set
#3
Ok I checked Silovite out and they manufacture the pistons for my engine but they do not sell direct. They suggested Summit but I tired their site and they don't list any pistons for my engine available (as with every other parts site I've tired). Any idea on who retails them?
I tthoguh one of my rods was broke but it's actually ok, so my rods are good. the ring holding the rod to the crank broke and cause the piston to slam up against the bottom of my head continously and busteed the piston all up, but fortunately no block, crank,or rod damage has been done, I've already had the cams and crank resurfaced at a shop and I'm gonna have the head rebuilt and block cleaned up for good measure, but I can't locate any pistons and rings for my engine anywhere.

Just because a website doesnt list a part, that doesnt mean they dont carry it. Call them. I uaually buy them for around $120 for the Silvolites with a .005" over bore.
