great reason to buy a red line.....

I don't think it there will be traditional "room". I'm sure you could strap the trunk down partially over it, but if it rains you're kinda hosed w r t water in the trunk.

Wish I had seen the numbers to send pix to. Would have had a lot of fun with that

It actually fits in the front. Someone on RLF took the passenger seat out, and the tranny fit perfectly there on a pallet.

Only reason I even considered my IRL is that on the highway, at speed limit, it should have no problem getting 26+mpg, whereas my Ranger got something like 23 on the trip to get it... While my car sucks fuel around home, it's still pretty good on the open highway where I can set the cruise at 75 (or whatever the speed limit is outside WV) and hold there for minutes at a time...

And Derf, if you want my cell number, all you have to do is send a PM...

And I haven't gotten any pics yet...

So, removed the intermediate shaft from the red one today. HOLY CHIT! I bent 2 screw drivers, and a 4 ft solid steel crow bar. That was after soaking it in wd-40.

Anyways, bump!

C'mon guys. Topanga needs some love, and the redline needs more boost.

Hey, I still want a clutch pedal, and a diagnostic port if your pin-out matches mine... Would have wanted the coupe headlights, but you've got a broken one...

I meant to text you about that. Clutch pedal is broke. I didn't realize it because they had it rigged. How? They shoved a towel between the rod and pedal, and tied it down.
But let me know about the pin. 10 shipped.

gee, wonder if they were on their cell phone smoking a cigarette while having a three way screaming argument and drinking a Dew with their feet when the impact occurred.

A Towel?

Hmm... Seems like I just need to figure out how to rig mine... My mom used zip ties, and now I have heard about a towel... Seems way cheaper than buying a new pedal from the local GM dealer...

When topangas went, I just drove riding the clutch so it didn't pop up. Clutch was shot anyway.

It was a cut up towel, shoved between the rod and pedal, with a hole poked through the pedal and a towel fed through it and wrapped back around.
I will take a picture so you guys can see this crap when its not storming.

What a dumbass design. No need to get so cute with it.

Is
1)the ball on the end of the master cylinder rod wearing
2)the pedal surface where it's held on by the clip wearing
3)is the clip losing the ability to hold things together?

I just read a bunch of posts where half seem to think it's a pedal problem and half seem to think it's a worn ball on the master cyl rod

....?
