6 of them were by mainstream "classic" rock bands.

Liz Phair song from the 1993 Album Exile in Guyville. A lot of acoustic guitar w minimal bass and drum. Music is somewhat calming but the lyrics get pretty vicious. An unknown, the album was self recorded in different rooms in her apartment to get the acoustics she wanted for the songs. Her second album sucked.

Audioslave was a band formed by Chris Cornell (Soundgarden) and the leftovers of Rage Against The Machine. Good hard edge.
