New Member saying "hi"!
Currently my wife and I each have 2002 LW200 wagons, same color even! Hers has about 78K on it and mine is a little over 110K on it. This is her second Saturn LW200 wagon. Her first one, a gorgeous silver 2001 was totaled in 2015 as she was trying to turn into our driveway by a woman in a SUV traveling about 50MPH while looking at her dog in the back seat. Didn't even hit the brakes!
Anyway, we have always been MOPAR owners (my first car was a '69 Valiant) but I always wanted to own a Saturn. After getting rid of our last minivan I talked my wife into buying a LW200 and after three weeks of searching I found one in New York with 25,000 miles on it for $6500.00. She loved it and enjoyed the decent gas mileage and spacious interior for the several years we owned it.
I recently had the timing chain replaced in mine and the entire exhaust manifold converter replaced along with both 02 sensors to solve a service engine soon issue. NOW my wife's wagon's service engine soon light has come on and I am hoping it is just an 02 sensor as the work I had done was quite expensive!
Anyways, happy to own the wagons and after replacing the rotted out engine cradle in hers we are hoping to have them on the road for many years!

Glad to see you got the timing chain replaced before it broke. L61 engines manufactured before late 2003 model year had poor oiling for the chain. The chain kits made after that have the improved oiler and the chains last a long time. I sold my lw300 today, but I have 2 other l200 sedans. Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forum. I HAD an 03 LW200 and traded it for a PT Cruiser with the 2.4 Turbo. I miss that wagon! But, like you, I've driven Mopars all my life and still love them. But, I'd trade the GT for another Saturn, given the opportunity.
