Tricks and Tips for fixing rattling plastic interior noises?
My '97 over the years has developed many rattles and noises caused by the plastic interior hitting some other part. I still have a few I'm tracing down because I don't know where they are coming from.
The one I was able to solve was the dashboard air vents between the passenger and driver seats would rattle. I found out I can take those vents out simply by pulling out, and I then added some weather stripping type foam between the two vents that were next to each other. It worked for a while before it wore out. (I need to put some more foam in again).
Does anyone have good tips on foams/other products to help make these irritating noises go away?

Felt adhesive disks to put on chair feet might work. Jamming in the felt side of Velcro worked for me. It's black and blends into the black interior. Depends on where the squeaks are coming from really.

if it's inside a door on a S coupe. it's a huge piece of Styrofoam passed off as "sound deadening material. I would GUESS the same is true for sedans. You could partially pull an inner or outer panel off enough to peek in there to see.
