Default Circle track racing

I want to start oval track racing a late model (92-95 SL1 or SC1).
Does anyone have any experience doing this and would have any advise

Note, the above cars are the only ones that meet our circle track horsepower rules

I think I'd go question some Circle Track Forums. Has to be far and few between to find a Saturn on a dirt track. Circle or a SquareD

We race a dirt track car. A cavalier (sorry). Mostly Cavs and Hondas where we race down south. I do search the internet for fwd racing and have found a few on fb. I have read that Saturn made a 4 cyl engine that put out some pretty good hp. By pretty good I mean 150 hp plus. What kind of hp rules does your track have? We have to run a stock engine so that evens the playing field somewhat. By the way some of them run I think the only stock thing on the engine is the air filter if you know what I mean.

Yeah I'm that guy with the durn cavalier again. Last time here I ran across a fella from around Baton Rouge, La. I'm looking for him or anybody else that knows of someone in the Baton Rouge or Lafayette, La. area that works on/builds ecotecs. Not just any mechanic. One very familiar with the engine. Somebody here must be from Louisiana. Thanks

Taking a short break from lurking in the shadows of my neighbors houses.

What are you looking to do/need help with?
I am over in Covington, not Baton Rouge. And as far as people "knowing" these motors, they are hard to come by. I haven't really came across anyone that likes them like we do.
I am only about an hour-hour and a half from Baton Rouge if you need help with something.
Can always shoot me a PM as well.

We might rebuild an ecotec later in the year and was trying to find someone with experience (with these motors) close by that might be able to do it. I'm in no rush. It's for my boy's car and he can't race till next year. Thanks. You Saturn guys ain't half bad.
