Default amp hot wire

hello everyone, whats been up... hope all is well. vue still running and shifting sweetly. put new thermostat and temp sensor and new plugs other day. put a bra on today, looks sweet on vue. tom im installing my new blaupunkt miami620 head w back up camera with my 500 watt mono amp and sub. was curious if any of you know a good place to run my hot wire through firewall? i looked for rubber plug but didnt see one... i hate drilling holes in firewalls if i don't have to. anyone done this on a vue? is there no getting around drilling? thanks in advance. peace

There have to be several grommets already there.
You might want to look behind where the shift tower would be if it were a manual -- there might be prestamped areas to be used as punchouts. You'd need to get the proper grommets of course.

i looked last night... didnt see any but will look again today of course cause i will be installing it today... yea i have installed hundreds of stereos, amps, alarms, neon and usually is spare grommets. this one seems to be button up pretty tight. ive only had to drill a couple times in past.
