Sounds like a hell of a car, it sure as hell looks good. I can't say I like the looks of the GIANT Superman S in the grille. What happen to the idea of getting the KIA Forte Wagon?

I remember my first car! It had a jewel incrusted dashboard light and an optional brake light. Shock absorbers were optional, it did not have them.
Yours sounds almost as nice.

Nice ride. You should check out the trip Motor Trend did in that car. Tokyo to LA the Hard Way. It's a four-parter on You Tube.

Yep, saw the video myself a while back.

Reprting back, my Wife loves her Kizzy. Only thing she does not like is the doors do not auto lock once put into gear or moving. And nothing was found in the TECH II to change that.

What I do not like about the car is the lack of power coming from the 2.4L, and the gas mileage. Over the life of driving my ION-3 (2.4L auto) back and forth to work it's settled in at 29.112 miles per gallon over the life of the car. Thats only having the car on one road trip. The Kizashi would never put those kinda numbers up on my drive to and from work.

I can not say 100% that I would never buy a Kizzy for myself, never say never.
If I did it would have to be a manual trans

Is the transmission one of the new darlings of the auto industry, a variable speed belt drive system of some kind or another?
I dunno how many of them are out there at the present, but it seems that most of them are problem prone, expensive to maintain and many who had them no longer do.
One of the problems that surfaced on a friends car was that the engine would not do the equivelent of short shifting thus staying at the higher rpms longer when driven some what hard and gas mileage just dropped out the bottom.

Yep it's a CVT trans ............. standard 7yr 100,000 warranty should be good enough to keep it going.

The more times I dive the Kizzy ..... the more I like the center gauge pod of the ION.
