the powers to be for Saturn ever look with intense pride at the decisions they made that turned what appeared to be a well accepted and winning design/car
into a looser
This summer I have taken my 94 Saturn coupe, re-furbished last year to look sharp and all to high school kid car washes 'cause I hurt and it is hard for me to wash cars these days.
I never leave with out having a couple of kids, boys or girls come up and say what a neat car it is.
Now that is a compliment to a 16 year old automobile and the work I did to repaint it and the color I used, a bling version of Black Gold, a factory color.
It is not the oldest car I have ever owned to recieve compliments nor the newest. Nor the only one that is representative of a failed company.
It is however the only one I have ever owned that represents such a stupid way to kill a company in such a rapid fashion.
I sure enjoy owning driving my coupe with it's difficult to maintain sun roof, but it is likable.
I may yet buy myself a new Caddy coupe when they come out. Then again, I may not.
The fun factor of owning this car, always good, is getting better.
