Hey everyone. I'm new to the board because I was looking for a set of window switches for my daily driver '01 SL. I've been getting some messages asking me about my name - FieroSS. Rather than try to explain it in a classifieds thread or in PM's I'll just put up a quick thread in off topic. Here we go.

My Fiero SS is my fun car. It started life as a stock '86 Fiero with a 2.8V6. In the V6's place I put a warmed ZZ3 small block chevy crate motor with 1.6 roller rockers, GMPP Hot Cam, LT4 valve springs, Eddy air-gap manifold, P&P'd L98 aluminum heads decked a few thousandths, thinner head gaskets, and electric water pump.

From the crate it was rated at 345hp and 400lb ft.
Now it should be in the 420hp range.

After the motor swap I upgraded to 17"/18" wheels, a strut tower brace, rear coilovers, front lowering springs, side scoops, functional Mustang decklid scoop, and custom 13"F/12"R Corvette brakes with SSBC prop. valve.

If you think it would be a great sleeper, you are partly right. With the custom 2.5" stainless exhaust, it is quite loud.

I damn near bought a GT back in the day. I always did like the look of that little car, and hell it would be outstanding with a 2.4L ECOtec in it.

that is an awesome little car you got there, great job on the swap. What are you using for a transaxle?

Just a stock 4 speed transaxle with a Spec Stage 3+ clutch. The internals are cryo treated and REM processed.
