Noise from LT front and High Idle
#1
I have a 2000 SL2,
1. I have a noise coming from the left front. The noise is a whispering sound. When you accelerate the sound doesn’t get louder, just faster. I check the breaks and there is nothing rubbing. I also had the wheels turn in the air and the sound was not there. Only when driving. Could it be a bearing or CV Axle? If anyone can help that would be great.
2. The second problem is after the car is warmed up the idle will stay around 1500 rpms. This doen’t happen all the time, just sometimes. If I turn the car off and restart the car the rpms go to normal. Then after driving a little more it happens again, but not all the time. Can you help me with this?

1. Possibly a bearing but they last for a long time... i dont know what to tell you about that...
2. Lazy o2 sensor most likely. My 1998 SL2 did the same exact thing and I changed o2 sensor #1 and it ran like new.
